The OGC hosts our team, and 3 other high school teams, as we all compete in the MN High School Clay Target League. The OGC also offers registered ATA events, leagues, and practice for the general public (adults & youth) from March - October.
The Steele County 4H Shooting Sports program offers a summer trap league based out of the Owatonna Gun Club. There is also a state competition held at the Alexandria Shooting Park at the conclusion of the season.
Blooming Prairie Gun Club has been in existence since 1938. In its heyday, it was one of the most popular gun clubs in Minnesota. With the hard work of its members, preserving that history and making steady improvements remains the main focus of the club. BPGC offers trap shooting.

This trio changed the way the sport was promoted, advertised, and brought into the homes of families across the world. The show released episodes with the very best shotgun shooters on earth, their techniques, styles, thinking, practice regimens and so much more to listeners from over 100 countries. Behind The Break ended in late 2020 and most of the episodes cannot be reproduced or replicated with as much information that is included in this program. They decided to share all of these episodes with you.
