OCTT Takes 2nd Place in Conference
The Owatonna Clay Target Team had another strong Spring Trap Season. With our largest team to date, 87 athletes, we moved up from Class 8A Conference 1 to Class 9 Conference 2, and competed with the other 7 biggest teams in the state.
A phenomenal last 2 weeks of the season propelled the team from 4th place all the way up to a 2nd place finish. We saw 2 girls finish in the Conference Top 25 Female Standings- Anna Fox & Hailey Fox. While on the boy’s side, we had 5 finish in the Conference Top 25 Male Standings- Joe Edel, Jon Klecker, Joseph Earl, Cody Bussert & Lane Roemhildt.

On Tuesday, June 19, the Owatonna Clay Target Team traveled to Alexandria, MN for the 2019 Minnesota Trap Shooting Championships to compete against all the teams in Class 9A. The day saw the Novice team finish in 11th Place (332/500), the JV team finish in 9th Place (423/500) and the Varsity took 11th Place (467/500). Ezra Buck, lead the Varsity with a 95/100. Jaci Burtis grabbed 3rd Place in the Female Novice Division as did Taylor Busho in the Female JV Division.
