After 2 days of competition (June 1 & 3), the Owatonna Boys Track & Field Team finished the Section 1AA Meet in Fourth Place behind Lakeville South, Lakeville North and Rochester Century. State Qualifiers, Dalton Kubista (Triple Jump) and Braydon Kubat (3200m), led the way for the Huskies.
Kubista hopped, skipped and jumped his way to the Section title with a leap of 43' 11 3/4". While Kubat took Second place in the 3200m Run with a time of 9:49.31. Darik Elstad closed out his Huskies career with a pair of 3rd Place Finishes in the Discus and the Shot Put.
