The late spring has delayed & postponed the 2018 track season, but the condensed schedule is not fazing the Huskies! Over the last 2 weeks, the Boys Track & Field team has taken 2 Championships, a 3rd Place and a 4th Place finish in large, competitive invitational meets.

On April 26th, the team competed at Lakeville South High School in the Cougar Relays. The 4th Place finish was a warm-up for the next 14 days.

Next, on April 28th, the team headed to the Mega Meet at Lakeville North High School and brought home the Championship. Jason Williamson was named Male Athlete of the Meet.

The third meet in this string, is a meet that is dear to the heart of the Owatonna Track family. It is the Rochester Mayo Dick Norman Invitational, which is one of longest running invitational meets in the state. The Huskies were two time defending champions heading into the competition on May 4th. It was great evening for the team as they 3-peated for the Championship.

Finally, this 2 week stretch finished up with 3rd Place at the Section 1AAA True Team meet on May 8th.
